On this week’s show we feature:- Newies from Sergio Mendes from his fantastic Collaboration CD, Timeless (the track also features India Aire), Outcaste (the track also features featuring Janelle Monae) and Fourplay - The amazing Bob James, Harvey Mason, Nathan East and Larry Carlton. We are grateful to the amazing Myspace artist’s: Alien Chatter- Rodney Lee & Satnam Singh (www.alienchatter.com) -
and Ranjit Fernandez (http://www.myspace.com/fernandezqatar).
The Prof and I feel that they represent great advances forward in fusion styles.

We wish them all much success and as we said on the show it is an honour for us to feature such awesome talent.

Our personal Thanks to Master Jay for selecting his Desert Island Groove (DIG) featuring a great Marvin Gaye Track - A track that makes you think about the need for us to all stop and strive for peace. The message is important today as it was back in the 70s!The featured artist for SG2-4 is Jeff Lorber http://www.lorber.com )

One of the Doc’s early CDs - purchased from a little record shop with trad listening booths. I think the shop was called Melody records - The guy in the shop was an great Jazz fan and always had the latest fusion tracks.
In our Oldies section we featured:
- Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes
- The Four Tops (the awesome tune featured in the Shaft movie - Shaft in Africa Circula 1973) - Listen out for the discussion on how such Seventies classics are still influencing todays cinema,
- Cchieli Manucci and
- Eric Marientahal - Hoping that even though you maybe heading for the streets to party
Please be careful out there! (Does anyone remember that line from Hill Street Blues!!?)Wishing all our supporters all lovely Christmas and brilliant 2007…

Until the next episode, Thanks for taking part in the podcast revolution!! Love from the Doc, Master and Prof.
