In this week’s newies we
include:

Madonna feat Justin Timberlake and Timbaland - certainly a hot single from her
up and coming CD entitled coincidently: ‘Hot Candy’. We have featured Madonna
before, way back when she released a track based on the Donna Summer rift, ‘I
feel love’. Anyway, although commercial this track has a great buzz to it
creating an instance get up on the dance floor factor!

Sam Sparro - It really grows on you and it is one of those tracks that stays in
your head. With almost 5 different mixes available from itunes. Personally, I
really like the ‘Kings of the Universe mix’.

The Myspace review section includes:

Electronic Jazz Ensemble - Bandwidth

"Where the future meets urban jazz"
"One of the most innovative band sites on the web!!"

Their main website is :
http://www.ejeband.com

EJE are an Urban Jazz group based out of Los Angeles. Members are Kevin Keith on bass guitar, guitar and vocals and David "Fingers" Haynes on Live Drum Machine

Terry Disley Side to Side

A few weeks ago we had a really nice track from former keyboardist and composer
with Acoustic Alchemy, Terry Disley and here is another one called ‘Side to Side’ Terry’s debut CD (with his new band) called "Experience." The track was entered into a competition on KKSF Radio 103.7 - the Bay Areas Smooth jazz station, and received the most votes by a long way.

We are grateful to Hilde from Norway for this week’s Moments and Wotnots
This week: Chico Hamilton

In Bring it Back we include:

Webster Lewis from the 1981 album called Let Me Be The One.

Michael Jackson - Continuing with an upbeat style here’s one of several remixes that appeared on a UK released CD single of 1991. - and originated as a funkier track on an album called ‘Dangerous’ - but this version is much Smoooother…

Lighthouse Family with a wonderful relaxing and gentle interpretation of the classic track. The distinctive sound of the Lighthouse family is missed. However, in an earlier season we did feature the lead singer Tunde.

Nitin Sawhney from the 2003 CD Downloads.
If you love Spanish guitar & inspirational words you will love this track. Nitin is what we would describe as innovative, original and has the skill to really blend diverse cross-cultural sounds. This track is especially smooth. Going back to the words - I think we all have a chance for the rainfall of negativity to stop. Be sure to checkout his MySpace site too.

Finally one of our fav’s: Roy Ayers

Thanks for everyone’s support.

Remember you can still get merchandise to help support this free show and our
license fees.

Until next time…All the Best from the Doc and the Prof…
